After having equipped nearly 5,000 students with computers during the 2020 confinement to enable them to properly follow their education, the Department is continuing its commitment to vulnerable families. The elected members of the assembly adopted a new measure last December, amounting to 11.5 million euros, which strengthens this emergency system and which aims to ensure educational continuity for as many people as possible.
In the coming months, the Hauts-de-Seine department will provide students with laptops that they will keep throughout their college education. 20,000 young people, from public and private establishments, are concerned.
This system is fully part of the Department’s digital educational strategy to meet the challenges of the digital transformation of schools.
